Service
General contracting
A single contractual counterpart from detailed design to turnkey handover, with costs, deadlines and quality under one hand.
One counterpart, from the idea to the handover
Acting as general contractor, we take on overall responsibility for the works: the client signs one contract and deals with one contact, while we coordinate designers, specialist firms and suppliers. It is the model that removes interface costs, eliminates the passing of blame and makes the handover date predictable.
How we work
Feasibility. Before committing to anything we check planning constraints, site conditions and the economics of the scheme, and we come back with a clear picture of what can be built and on what terms.
Detailed design and site planning. We turn the design into construction drawings, bills of quantities and a programme, identifying critical activities and services clashes in advance.
Execution. One project manager follows the site from setting-up to completion, with regular progress meetings and reporting on works status, variances and safety.
Handover and aftercare. Commissioning, as-built documentation, training on how to operate the building services, and support throughout the warranty period.
When it pays off
The general contracting model gives most benefit when the works combine construction and building services, when the programme is tight, or when the client has no in-house technical team to dedicate to supervising the site.
