Cookie policy
Which cookies we use, what they do, and how to change your choice at any time.
This is a courtesy translation. In case of discrepancy, theItalian version prevails.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on a visitor's device. They make the site work, remember preferences and, in some cases, collect statistics or personalise advertising.
2. How this site is configured
This website is built as a set of static pages and, in its current configuration, installs no profiling cookies and no third-party analytics. Typefaces and graphics are hosted on our own servers: browsing the site makes no requests to external services.
3. Cookies and tools actually in use
Technical — always active
No consent is required under Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code.
- bala-consent — browser local storage (localStorage), not technically a cookie. It stores the choice made on the banner so it does not have to be requested on every visit. Duration: 6 months.
Measurement — only with your consent
The category exists in the banner but no measurement tool is currently active. If one is introduced, this page will be updated before it goes live and consent will be requested again.
Marketing — only with your consent
This category is also present but inactive. There are no advertising pixels on the site.
4. Third-party content loaded on request
The Contact page offers a map provided by OpenStreetMap. The map is not loaded automatically: it appears only after an explicit click on the «Load the map» button. Until then no data is sent to OpenStreetMap. Once activated, the provider receives your IP address and technical connection data under its own privacy notice.
Some news pages contain sharing links to LinkedIn, WhatsApp and email clients: these are plain links and set no cookies until clicked.
5. How to change your choices
You can review your consent at any time by clicking«Cookie preferences» in the footer of every page. You can also block or delete cookies from your browser settings; disabling technical cookies may however impair some functionality.
6. Data controller
BALA GROUP S.R.L., Via Val d'Astico 59/3, 16164 Genova (GE), Italy — VAT 03093790990. Enquiries: info@balagroup.it.
The processing of personal data collected through the site is described in the privacy policy.
